Labor, Employment and Workplace Safety: 2016 Year in Review and 2017 Outlook

We will review 2016’s significant developments in U.S. Labor, Employment and Workplace Safety laws, and provide an outlook on trends and anticipated changes to help your company prepare for 2017.

Topics will include:

  • Predictive scheduling
  • Updates on the National Labor Relations Board; immigration; and arbitration agreements
  • Medical marijuana in the workplace
  • The Defend Trade Secrets Act and other restrictive covenants
  • Wage and hour trends and lessons learned, including the treatment of gig economy workers
